Propose for Project V
What is "Good Hair"? That was always one of the great questions growing up. As a child, good hair was white people's hair and in order for black people to get that good hair we all had to get relaxer (in other people term "Perms"). I have been told, mostly from black women (& some men) that they have been judge because of their hair. "You can't be a business person with a fro, because if its relax, everyone is relax and if its nappy, nobody is happy.", said from a good friend . So for project V I wanna to create four simple sculptors pieces by taking photographs (12x16) of four multi culture young ladies hair and a silhouette of their heads but not showing their identity. I feel I need to work on this more because there is so many ideas that this topic can be create with. This is something kinda of deep to me and I WANT to continue with it.

Proposal for Project IV
For my assignment IV I decided to capture 10 various images for a performance piece. My concept for this assignment was to go around to different locations in Memphis, TN with a semi crowd of people watching me (or not) dance to a variety of songs with a golden smiley face box on top of my head. This assignment is to get people's attention and also to break out of my own comfort zone. The reason why I decided to wear a golden smiley face box on my head is because I tend to have a little crowd anxiety when the attention is on myself.
